A Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing pricing data, developing pricing strategies, monitoring market trends, and supporting business decisions to improve revenue and profitability. The role works closely with sales, finance, commercial, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing data, sales performance, margins, and profitability.
• Develop and recommend pricing strategies based on market conditions and business objectives.
• Review customer pricing, discounts, contracts, and commercial terms.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify pricing opportunities.
• Build and maintain pricing models, reports, and analytical dashboards.
• Evaluate pricing proposals and assess their potential impact on revenue and margins.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Business Development, and Commercial teams on pricing decisions.
• Monitor pricing performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support deal pricing, bids, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Analyze historical pricing trends and develop forecasts to support business planning.
• Identify pricing risks, inconsistencies, and margin-impacting issues.
• Ensure pricing decisions follow company policies and approval processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pricing analysis, financial analysis, and commercial strategy.
• Advanced MS Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Strong understanding of revenue, margins, profitability, and pricing models.
• Experience with pricing tools, CRM, ERP, or business intelligence platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of market and competitor analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder-management and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple pricing projects and deadlines.
