The Associate – Internal Audit – Managed Services – Advisory supports clients with internal audit, risk management, controls testing, compliance, and business-process assessments. The role involves analyzing business processes, identifying risks, evaluating controls, preparing audit documentation, and working with senior team members to deliver advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal audit and risk-assessment activities for clients.
• Review business processes to identify potential risks and control gaps.
• Test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Prepare audit workpapers, documentation, and supporting evidence.
• Analyze financial and operational information to identify unusual trends or risks.
• Support SOX, IFC, compliance, and control-testing activities where applicable.
• Assist in preparing audit reports and communicate findings to senior team members.
• Work with clients to understand processes, controls, and business requirements.
• Track identified issues and support remediation and corrective-action activities.
• Perform research on accounting, regulatory, and internal-control requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to complete assignments within deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Stay updated on internal audit, risk management, governance, and regulatory developments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of internal audit, risk management, and internal controls.
• Understanding of accounting and financial processes.
• Knowledge of SOX/IFC and control frameworks is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and documentation tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
