An Architect is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions that meet business and technical requirements. The role involves defining system architecture, guiding engineering teams, reviewing technical designs, and ensuring solutions follow organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and reliable system architectures for complex applications and platforms.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs.
• Define architecture standards, technology choices, and design principles.
• Create high-level and low-level technical designs for software systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, security, infrastructure, and business teams.
• Review application designs, code, and technical implementations to ensure architectural compliance.
• Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture, development practices, and technical decisions.
• Design solutions involving APIs, microservices, databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
• Ensure systems meet requirements for security, performance, availability, scalability, and maintainability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of software architecture and system design.
• Experience with Java, Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data architecture.
• Understanding of scalability, performance, security, and high availability.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and container technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of architecture patterns and design principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of system integration and technology modernization.
